Temple Bar TradFest Kicked Off
Our Temple Bar Tradfest kicked off yesterday with the opening of the Nutan Photo Exhibition in the Gallery of Photography on Meeting House Square. There were pipers marching thourgh the streets of Temple Bar, movies on Meeting House Square, the Glackin Brothers peformed for the first time together in many years, definitely a concert that will go down in our Tradfest history books!
And there’s still so much to see and do at this year’s festival….
Today we again begin with the Nutan Photo Exhibition at 11.00am. Starting off this evening we’ll have pipers marching through the streets of Temple Bar from 7pm. You can catch the movies Fluent Dysphasia and Yu Ming Is Ainm Dom each on Meeting House Square from 6.30-9pm. Tonight we have two fantastic concerts lined up; Paddy Keenan & Tommy O'Sullivan take to the stage of The Project Arts Centre at 8.30pm (doors 8.00pm) while Solas will be performing at 9pm (doors 8pm) in the Button Factory.
And if that isn’t enough we have musicians playing day and night at our infamous Temple Bar Tradfest Pubtrail.
We hope to see you during the Festival, and don’t forget to come join us in the Festival Club each night after the concerts in The Palace Bar!!
