
IMRO Showcases & Master classes
Over the course of the festival, IMRO in association with TASCQ will present a series of traditional-music showcases and master classes.

Eleanor McEvoy is a musician (piano and violin) and songwriter. Eleanor was accepted into the National Symphony Orchestra and after working for four years, she focussed on song writing. The album A Women’s Heart anthology became the best-selling album in Irish history, staying in the Irish Top 10 for over a year.
Michael Rooney, harpist, concertina player, tutor, producer and a well known composer of traditional Irish music in Ireland, recorded with ‘The Chieftains’ on their Grammy Award winning CD entitled The Celic Harp and toured the US with the group. In 2006 he published his book Harp Tunes.
